I’m Mohammed from Mali and I’ve been living at the Peace Lab for over one year. At the moment I’m recovering from an injury sustained at work. But apart from that I work regularly with a construction company in Rabat, Malta. I’ve just come from the small but beautiful mosque we have in the garden. Tonight we will welcome a group of young Maltese and international students who come regularly to get to know us. We spend time preparing and eating our traditional dishes. Sometimes we spend time watching football together. I look forward to meeting them once again this evening.
How would I describe myself at the moment? I’m happy. My English is not good and not everything is ok. But I’m really grateful for what I have. I am especially grateful for Fr Mintoff and what he does for us. He is a good man.
